Gaming industry bodies and firms on Monday hailed the decision by the Karnataka High Court to strike down the law restricting online games, saying that it is a significant help for skill-based gaming firms that had closed down operations in the state.
The Karnataka Police (Amendment) Bill, 2021 was mooted by the ruling BJP to correct the Karnataka Police Act 1963, in the Monsoon meeting.
