Apart from fantasy sports, online casino slot games and online poker games were popular among urban women, urban Indian women, with a quarter of them (23% for each) saying they played these games for money last month. Some online gaming apps have become popular online and the usage of the app is almost equivalent among both men and women (43% vs 39%).
However, compared to men, apps such as Spin Casino, Spin Samba and Casino Midas are more popular among women. On average, a third of the female fantasy gamers (33%) in India spend smaller amounts (up to Rs 1,000) of cash on fantasy sports games every month. Almost one in five (21%) gamers said they spend between 1K-10K, while only 16% claim to spend more than 10k on online fantasy games. This data is built up of more than 500,000 interviews conducted per year, with new data collected and updated every month.
