Skill Games Charter – Transparency and Disclosure
Established in May 2016, AIGF is the oldest Industry body for Online Skill Gaming in India. AIGF’s goal is to facilitate recognition for the Online Skill Gaming Industry, one of the fastest-growing sectors of the Indian economy. AIGF’s Skill Games Charter centers around self-regulating all games of skill played online in pay-to-play formats, which is essential to stay aware of selective necessities of inclination and user security in the skill gaming industry.

As AIGF is committed to inclusively representing the totality of the Gaming industry, our members follow some of the rules put forth in the Skill Games Charter.
Transparency & Disclosure:
- Members will draft, and publish for a general review on its Platform, the terms and conditions, privacy policy, and other policies relating to its game, which will (i) accurately and clearly specify (without limitation) the terms and conditions of the Platform, the mechanics and rules of all format offered, the terms and conditions of each format, and the manner of determination of winners and winning amount; (ii) clearly specify the nature of personal information collected, the purpose for which such information shall be used and the period for which such information may be retained. Members will notify customers of any material changes to the terms and conditions of the games on their Platform before they come into effect.
- Members shall either publish this Charter on its Platform and keep it up to date or provide a link to AIGF’s page containing the Charter, for general review.
- At the time of registration on the Platform, a user will be required to undertake, through an affirmative action such as ticking a checkbox, that he/she accepts and agrees to comply with the Platform’s terms and conditions and policies.
- Members will not misinterpret the rules, regulations, and terms regarding charges and winnings.
- Each member on the Platform shall be expressly defined on the Platform itself.
- With respect to pay-to-play formats, members will ensure that there is no representation or implication that the game or the winnings are offered or provided on the Platform for “free” and will not use phrases such as “free prize on winning”, “free prize on registration”, etc., in relation to pay-to-play formats.
- The distribution of payouts/winning will be undertaken strictly as prescribed in the Platform’s terms and conditions.
The All India Gaming Federation (AIGF) is a registered not-for-profit society established under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. AIGF aims to bring all stakeholders associated with the Gaming industry such as operators and business houses, lawyers, journalists, software and technology providers, professionals, consultants, etc. under a common platform and urge for reforms in this sector.
