To serve the growing esports industry in India, a devoted body- - Esports Players Welfare Association (EPWA)- - is being launched. The affiliation expects to help support esports players with administrations like lawful guidance, contracts, dispute resolution, and professional counsel, among others.
EPWA, a non-profit association, will be a member-only association where players can select free just as paid yearly enrollment (Rs299 each year premise).
To protect the interests of esports players across India, EPWA has collaborated with legal and financial experts. The previous gamer Amar Ratnam will liaise among players and industry all in all. Esports has been incorporated as a medal event at the forthcoming Asian Games in 2022 and anticipating an Olympic nod also.

Ritesh Nath, CEO and founder of EPWA said, "With the outstanding expansion in the number of esports players (beginner and expert) and roads for them to make money, EPWA will endeavor to guarantee their privileges are ensured by characterizing industry standards, setting guidelines, and helping significant partners to frame approaches."

As per him, most esports organizations in the environment ignore the privileges of the players.
